Kestrel Factory Calibration and Firmware Update

Keep your Kestrel performing at its best with a full factory calibration and service refresh. This all-in-one maintenance package includes functional testing, sensor checks, firmware updates for Kestrel 5000 Meters, and key part replacements backed by an updated Certificate of Conformity.

Included Services:

• Full functional test (display, buttons, backlight)
• Visual inspection & surface cleaning
• Updated firmware/software (where applicable)
• Battery door inspection/replacement if needed
• New calibrated wind impeller and impeller cover installed (dependent on model)
• Leak test
• Communication check (IR functionality where applicable)
• Test Bluetooth communication (if Bluetooth / LiNK model)
• Test compass
• Replace battery

You'll receive a new Certificate of Conformity & Report listing your unit’s serial number, test date, and signature of the test agent.

Shipping Your Kestrel for Calibration

After placing your order, note your order number and clearly write it on the outside of your shipping box. Then, securely pack your Kestrel and send it to:

Shipping Notes

• Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping their unit to NK.
• Return ground shipping is free within the U.S. and Canada for both warranty and non-warranty services.
• Expedited and international return shipping is available at an additional charge.

International Returns

If you're shipping your unit from outside the U.S., please include the following on each line item of the customs invoice to avoid unnecessary duties or taxes:

You'll also receive these shipping instructions via email. To help us process your calibration quickly, please be sure to:

• Include your Order Number on the outside of the box
• Optionally, print and include your order confirmation inside the package

90-Day Limited Warranty on Calibration Services

All repairs and tune-ups are warrantied for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of service (1) that service was performed in a competent and workmanlike manner and (2) that all parts used to service your product were free from defects in materials and workmanship. The foregoing warranty is an express limited warranty and in the event of breach, NK will either (i) re-perform the service, (ii) repair or replace the part, or (iii) refund the cost of the service provided. Products will continue to be covered by their original limited warranty after repair or tune-up, or by this limited repair warranty, whichever is longer.
